He finally addressed the situation and explained he didn't do it before so it wouldn't distract from the CBT. Also he denies the allegations and says the dancers only spoke on it because their egos were hurt from not being invited to join the tour.

I still find it odd that these dancers that have been there all this time weren’t invited back because “he just wanted dancers with certain different characteristics”.

Hmmm, even though these were classed as “allegations” I’m suspicious. Numerous dancers from over 15 years of Gaga’s career have spoke out, way more than just one so I feel there is some truth. I think a lot of the interview is just to save face. Also JoJo’s comments are irrelevant, you’re a celebrity of course he won’t be disrespectful towards you !

I really hope he won’t work with Gaga or any of her team anymore, the whole situation is extremely disappointing.

Yeah…something doesn’t add up. You’re telling me all of those dancers (some of them working with Gaga for almost 14 years) were willing to put their reputation on the line by speaking out against workplace abuse because of bruised egos? I find that very hard to believe.

Maybe he finally spoke out because Gaga has something that needs to be choreographed coming up and he wasn't invited back.. and he is actually projecting and he is the one with the ego hurt

Some of them had been working for Mother Monster as far back as 2009 and had worked on almost all of her projects since, so Jackson believes they may have been very emotional about not being hired for the new tour.

“Maybe I took something away from them that they felt: ‘This is who I am now’,” he said, adding, “In their own world, they were ‘Gaga dancers.’ Because she’s at the height of the artist world.”

He is such a pompous asshole in this entire piece. He takes so much credit for everything these dancers had with their job and also dismisses everything they said as their pride being hurt? Good god he’s even more insufferable every time he speaks than he was previously to me. Like everything about him just pisses me off that she keeps him around. He’s not even good at his damn job lol. I’m just constantly mind blown by some decisions that she makes or allows to be made for her.

Several of the dancers who spoke out against Richy, like Jeremy Hudson, haven't danced for Gaga since The Monster Ball or Born This Way Ball. This is not just a situation where people were hurt and acting out because they weren't hired back for TCB. Not buying a single word of this.

Really interesting piece. I'm pleased it's a full story not just a splashy headline with no substance.

Fact is, there's nothing wrong with standards being high and him being strict, the red flag is the fact the dancers who left have worked with him and Gaga for YEARS. Something has happened and he's kind of just brushed it aside as 'I have no idea what they're talking about'. 

Once again, Gaga and Bobby need to move past this and work with a new choreographer...I don't know..."with different characteristics" maybe

Gaga always gives this "clan" vibe, she sticks with folks she knows well.

She could have worked with many more interesting choreographers since years already...

Yeah she wants to be around people that she knows and who know her. People that won't leave her for the next hot project.

And sadly Richy seems very keen on staying with her. Which is ironic, considering his shtick about the dancers feeling too attached to Gaga as their main employer.
