Coco was suffering depression, and recently just finished leg surgery because of inherited leg disease, which took a toll on her life because she loved dancing when singing and she always wanted to be a dancer. She had an unhappy marriage, and even though her husband cheated on her multiple times, her divorce court case left her nothing in the end. Coco was a big Lady Gaga fan. She went to The Born This Way Ball Hong Kong date in 2012 and even met her in the back stage. She wrote: ''It's unforgettable that I got to met and talk to Gaga. She even said she might come to my concert one day, that made me so excited! She is so talented and inspired me a lot, I hope I can tour soon and use all her tips!''
