I actually hate Meta and Elon and all the greedy, disgusting billionaires. I used to think there was noone that I truly hated and wished ill upon, but that has changed in recent years. Well, it looks like Tumblr and it's janky code might have a resurgence in popularity if they don't get their **** together fast and fix these problems. This is too much of a big rant so I'ma make my own thread about it

I have a theory that Elon doesn't care because really, he (and his cronies) would actually like twitter to disappear. Him & his rich friends, & the politicians they were in bed with were clowned on it for years, and some even deployed bots to defend themselves and their interests. They would love to gut it. That said, I feel like what he really envisioned when buying twitter was to be Twitter King and control the narrative with him going viral for "funny" tweets and for people to champion him & his propaganda (hence the paid accounts), but he is cheap, incompetent, and unfunny, so now, it's just dying a slow death because he didn't want to pay anyone. It dying is also good for him - if twitter does not exist, the people can't call him out, the news and narrative can be controlled and contained more easily.
