Continuing to insist she’s not and spread theories is just weird and it’s not your place. Omfg Taylor has not once in her entire career explicitly stated that she’s straight!!! The closest she has come to this are some very vague comments about supporting the LGBT community and allyship. She also made a comment in the Miss Americana documentary along the lines of “gay pride makes me, me” during a behind the scenes look at the ME! music video. Kind of a strange thing for a straight woman to say. Especially considering she hadn’t been a very vocal supporter of the LGBT community until the Lover era. Some of you guys act like Taylor is constantly debunking the Gaylor rumors and stating that she is a heterosexual woman and how offended she is by all of it. She most certainly is not! These rumors have been going on for the past decade and she is undoubtedly aware of them. It wouldn’t be hard for her to put out a statement to Gaylors saying that she identifies as heterosexual and put all the rumors to rest. If she was really straight, and especially if she was offended by the queer rumors, she would 100% do this. She is a person who cares deeply about her public image. And I would like to reiterate that nobody is invading Taylor’s privacy with this queer speculation. We’re just analyzing songs, videos, social media posts, etc that she willingly put out into the world, not stalking her or trying to leak private information. Everytime she releases a song, her fanbase speculates on which man the song is about. So we’re crossing a line if we think the song is about a woman when so many signs point in that direction?! Taylor has not once indicated that she’s offended by the queer rumors yet a huge portion of her fanbase is. The only explanation is that they view being queer as something shameful and “lesser” than heterosexuality.

After reading that I looked up the lyrics of those songs and wow you're right. Amazing how it almost feels like a plainsight confession once you know the backstory. Cruel Summer: "And it's new, the shape of your body" - Taylor isn't used to being intimate with women. "It's blue, the feeling I've got" - probably the scared and guilty feeling she has exploring same-sex attractions for the first time. Don't Blame Me: "Something happened for the first time In the darkest little paradise" - Taylor's been in love many times, so probably a first time that she's fallen for a woman. "Halo hiding my obsession" - Karlie was a Victoria's Secret angel. "And, baby, for you I would (I would) fall from grace Just to (Just to) touch your face" - Taylor knows that being with a woman would be super controversial and definitely hurt her image, especially with her country fans. False God: "But we might just get away with it Religion's in your lips" - I don't think Karlie ever came out and before she got married to a man, she converted to Judaism. WOW this is getting interesting.. learning this as I write this. "And you can't talk to me when I'm like this Daring you to leave me just so I can try and scare you You're the West Village You still do it for me, babe" - Karlie's place was in the West Village. Wow. I'm completely sold on this. It also explains why she was focusing so heavily on LGBT themes and support with Lover's lead singles. I’m glad you have an open mind and are able to see this for what it is. So many people blatantly dismiss any theory that Taylor could possibly have dated a woman because the planet views her as the “straightest woman alive”. She has built up such a reputation as a boy crazy heterosexual that people are absolutely BLIND to the clear as day evidence in her music. No straight woman sings about “secret love” the way Taylor does. And not to mention, that none of Taylor’s supposed relationships with men have been a secret! Going off on the whole Karlie marrying a man and converting to Judaism thing, this is true! Karlie has never come out and ended up marrying a man (Josh Kushner), converting to Judaism, and having a Jewish wedding. Listen to the song Right Where You Left Me off Evermore. Note the lyrics “glass shattered on the white cloth. Everyone moved on”. This is a Jewish wedding tradition. https://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/breaking-the-glass-at-a-jewish-wedding/ Unless someone can prove to me that one of Taylor’s ex boyfriends is Jewish and got married in a Jewish wedding ceremony, this song is clearly about KARLIE. And anyone who thinks otherwise is DELUSIONAL. Also, leaving this here https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=dropping hairpins

People can speculate all they want but some Gaylors get absolutely angry if Taylor says something which contradicts their beliefs. I’ve seen Gaylors lobby to boycott her if she says something which makes it sound like she’s straight (which is absurd because she publicly dates exclusively men). It’s one thing to have theories it’s another to be angry if your theory is not correct. https://www.gawker.com/celebrity/gaylors-turning-on-taylor-swift-lavender-haze-explained/amp

Taylor explicitly said she wasn’t part of the LGBT community, but an ally/supporter in her 2019 Vogue interview. I don’t know how much more clear she needs to be and she/anyone else shouldn’t need to constantly re affirm their sexuality because people like yourself won’t take their word for it. In the same documentary you talk about she made it clear she decided to take her stance because she wanted to get her word in before her impact fades. As for the glass shattered line, it’s pretty easy to see in the context of the song she’s talking about dropping her glass at the dining table when the partner ended things. Stop ignoring the parts you don’t want to hear. Its gone past just speculation, its weird and obsessive.
