Taylor's fans wear incontinence diapers so they don't miss a second of her show. I don't think they'll be put off by the album leaking early

If the album were to leak, that‘s when the case would be interesting, because then Taylor & her legal team could potentially prove the harm he caused everyone involved financially, and that would be hefty. He got lucky it was only about him selling stolen (illegally obtained) items.

You really think her fans won’t buy all 7 variants of vinyl, all 4 variants of cassette and CD, a digital copy and only listen to it by streaming it despite having all other formats if it leaks?? If anything, I think it leaking would cause her fans to double their purchases

But streams will be lost. And thus money and longevity. The impact the planned drop could have would be dropped. 

Y‘all learned nothing from Applause, ARTPOP, Joanne, Stupid Love and Chromatica leaking. Even after we saw the stress it caused Gaga & her team. Applause & Stupid Love hugely lost lots of their impact because of the leaks.
