My dad brought up the point the other day that the US cannot be seen as weak in such a dangerous and vulnerable time like this with the Russia/Ukraine situation. We haven't had an amazing leader since Obama IMO and I hope there's a decent one elected next year. I'm in the UK but I'm interested in US politics as it always tends to rub off on us, we tend to copy what y'all Americans do. Biden already slipped up with his words talking about Putin a little while back saying he cannot stay in power or something. But when you're 80+ you can easily misword things and the opposition (Russia) could perceive it as a threat. (didn't the white house put out a statement like "oh he didn't mean it like that" or something We need someone who is tough and sharp with their intelligence and words, not Trump or Biden. Well to be fair, Biden on Ukraine has been doing the right thing lately, and showed that toughness is about action not words. He stayed the course and managed to convince europeans to stay the course. However his perceived weakness and hesitation early on might've definitely encouraged Putin to invade.
