Kim is capable of going there if she chooses but she is set on being a bimbo sex positive pop star. Even songs like If Jesus Was A Rockstar were so shallow...I really want to see her grow and bear at least part of her heart but considering she is still works with Dr. Luke and has no remorse for doing such I doubt she is the most emotionally-intuned or empathetic individual. I personally really liked problematique it had a lot of what I like as a fan from her era 1, clarity and totl projects, and I still hope it will be released one day. I do feel like her early work as an independent artist was less tainted by what the industry wanted from her, and I feel like I have yet to see her shine as bright as she did from some of those era’s we’ve come to so love, but she’s playing the game, and I’ve liked seeing the experimentation. I would love to see more brrr sound and production, I would also like to see longer running track time with production riffs, there’s so many cool outro’s and production moments on her previous era tracks, I’d like to see more of that in her new stuff. I have heard the feed the beast leak when I listened to all the problematique leaks, and it is one I enjoyed and was bummed when it disappeared. I think it’s safe to assume any of the disappeared leaks have plans to be used for future projects or this album of hers. I would be surprised if they didn’t throw those on as bonus. If it were me, I would reach out to Sam’s label and try to get unholy on there too, since it’s the song and collab she got major recognition from the rest of the world for. The world’s been under a rock when it comes to Miss Petra’s. She’s been the gays diva for quite some time. Now it’s the worlds turn. I would also love to see some alone remixes on there. I know some didn’t care for it, but some of Kim’s trap songs are my fav on clarity, I’m a child of the 2000’s I love that era and nostalgia and that song was right up my ally. She mentioned that this album will have lots of songs, so that leads me to believe it will have more than the standard 11 - 13 song tracklist. I do really love Problematique as a project, I feel like it deserves to be it’s own collective work of art, I thought the concept was great, I still regularly listen to many of the leaks, however I’d be quite happy if we got more songs on this album as a bonus then just the three she mentioned that made it. Kim mentioned in her Twitter that many of the songs have been tweaked since the problematique leaks, so they could always have two versions of the songs with different productions that fit more of the concept or cohesiveness of each respective album. I thought problematique was pretty polished and perfect, so I’d love those production versions of songs like revelations, hit it from the back, and sex talk on a problematique release one day. She was working on this as an independent artist before she even signed to republic, it had to be so frustrating what happened! Kim knows herself, Kim knows music and how to make smash hits, and music that relates to her fans, I think what’s hard is she has to play the game a different way than she did as an independent artist, she’ll get the hang of it to where she can please fans and her label. Damn that girl has drive, omg, the things she made happen as an independent artist who moved to LA with no money, her stories inspiring. She just has to keep trusting herself, & she needs the fans support as she does the major label thing and plays the game so she can release more of what she would like to artistically. I want to hear a totl volume 3!!! The label’s not going to want to release a fan favorite like that until she builds a larger demographic and fan base through the general public. That’s a big cash grab for republic to release another volume of her Halloween EP’s that was so popular and beloved by her fans. As a business move it wouldn’t be smart to release something like that til she’s more well known and received by the general public. There going to want totl vol 3 to be received the same way Thriller was received by Michael Jackson to the general public, they don’t just want the gays on board, they want everyone to remember that moment of time, see it, be apart of the culture of that release, they want to grow her listeners and demographic, it’s how the music industry has to operate to continue to put more money into artists and it’s how Kim is profitable for Republic. I feel like Republic has been experimenting with Kim’s sounds a lot too and waiting to see what’s well received, they need her to be successful to keep putting money into her, & they want her to be profitable, that’s why they signed here, they want that monay!!! Kim’s an investment and they want their investment to pay off, everyone has an idea of how to do that, but yea, go out & support her it’s how we’ll hear more of what we love from her, Kim is very talented, but at the end of the day, it’s all about the Benjamin’s, the art comes second. In the early years artists rely on the fans, they really do, she has such a great collection and body of work too that it shouldn’t be hard to grow her base!
