I think they're gonna have to make a decision in the next couple of hours. Otherwise people will be requesting refunds no? Honestly they've left it far too long already at this point for it not to have major blow back on them. They kick him out - people will be out for blood given what may or may not be distorted info put out their about the behaviour of the israel delegation towards other acts. They keep him in - the other side of the debate will accuse them of bowing down to anti-semites etc.

When communication isn't being effectively done, people will fill in the gaps with their own assumptions and then others with those same assumptions "confirm" them in echo chambers. That's just human nature Yeah, true. But still... the baseline is: the EBU won't take these measures without reason. Something bad must have happened, so you'd hope that people would take the possibility that he is at fault into account. (but apparently not)

I mean which allegation do you believe atm? 1st it was that he'd had an argument 2nd was that an Israeli Journo had harrassed him and made disparraging comments about his parents 3rd was that he was going to make a public statement criticising the EBU/Israel 4th was that he refused to share the stage with Eden 5th is the one you've just shared And there's now screencaps going round of the Israeli Journo accused of harrasing him making comments being interpreted as a death threat due to saying "no anti-semite has the right to sing or breathe next to us" on their instagram stories in the last few hours. I don't know what's actually happened, what the truth is etc. But it's been multiple hours of silence by the EBU now, looking at twitter it is clear that the bot farms are out in full force - either that or Maga republicans secretly love Eurovision..... Thanks to social media, **** like this needs an immediate PR explanation - or you instantly cede control to the disinfo sphere and you can never really correct that.

Well, I'm inclined to believe whatever bit of news we're getting from actual news sources in Sweden: https://www.aftonbladet.se/nojesbladet/melodifestivalen/a/MnRnOo/uppgifter-ebu-i-krismote-om-nederlandernas-joost-klein-anklagas https://www.svt.se/kultur/incident-utreds-kring-nederlandske-artisten-joost-klein It just seems some people on twitter want to involve Israel in everything, and facts/evidence don't matter anymore. And yeah I agree, it's unfair both to him, and the Israeli delegation to be potentially accused of things they have nothing to do with. The Israeli singer was booed strongly by the dutch fans today. Why? Thanks to twitter disinfo.

I mean I don't trust any media source these days - there's no such thing as an unbiased source lol I've got no skin in the Joost fan game tbh, I want Croatia to win so everyone turning on Israel (further) & Joost being booted increases the chance I win my bet.
