This poll doesnt really mean that much. He won the INFE televote poll. Mind you, you say none of his wins were a landslide, which is true but the 2-3 countries who are close messed up their stagings totally. That includes the Swiss staging, way too dark and the outfit is still bad; Netherlands, kinda boring staging and Italy, biggest disaster of the 3 as far as staging is concerned. My point is based on popularity as well as staging. An already popular song that won most polls has the best staging amongst the top contenders. Now Ukraine still has a chance (although only the walking up the cliff part is nice, vocals are shaky) and Ireland has the best staging by far but will be brutally wiped out by the juries and religious countries.
