Controversiaga 17,096
I think a cooler concept would’ve been a bunch of fruit taped to the wall, whether it’s a bunch of bananas or a variety of fruit. but one single banana taped to the wall just looks so lazy and foolish , I’m so sorry Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga”
dimitristhe 1,567
A Banana and a tape artist makes more money than me. And I work 40+ hours per week. That’s disturbing. When we're not together tell me everything's gonna be alright

Tbh. I used to suck at drawing (still do). monsterdino 32,001
Maybe that’s the point of the artwork and why it is so expensive, you essentially get a life-time of bananas everytime somebody eats it or destroys the banana…much to think about

Noah X 5,250
The fact that they change the banana every 2-3 days makes this high camp and high art. It's less about the actual banana on the wall, but rather, the concept of it, and its ability to outlast time. How something organic and with decaying life expectancy can be immortalized and revered as the Mona Lisa. It's well worth the $120,000.
