Since we talk so much about ARTPOP Act 2, what if we got a BTW Act 2?

Besides Stuck On ****in You and Living On The Radio, do you think she had enough songs for an Act 2 of BTW?

I don't want an act 2 of anything I just want a new album

so if there's any songs good enough from either how about she just reworks them into a new album like she did with Earthquake/Fashion of his love

She definitely does have enough music for 2/3 additional installments to each album tbh. The problem is her pre-2014 stuff is still tied to old management legally and likely won't ever see the light of day...legally :bradley:

Do we know if there’s a way for her to release them legally ever?

I think she would have to mend things with Troy and his team of people? And maybe have them sign disclosures or buy them out of their legal ties. I honestly have no idea. I just know that's a big reason why there's a 0.00000001% chance of anything akin to "ARTPOP Act II" or "ARTPOP 10th Anniversary" happening

This isn’t true. The music is owned by Interscope Records who no longer employs Troy. They are free to release whatever music they like. Ultimately, it will be up to Gaga herself. Similar to how Taylor re-recorded her songs, can could do the same.

It is true though? Troy doesn't own the music but it's still tied up to his management

Same. I’m good with anniversary re-releases of her albums which include some new unreleased material from that era but I don’t want entire eras dedicated to continuations of her old projects. I’m more interested in LG7 and a new concept and sound from her. In an ideal scenario this would be a rough trajectory of where I’d like to see her career go:

2023: ARTPOP 10- remixed/alternative mixes of her OG material with different artists featured on the album similar to DoC. A new version of DWUW is made, IWBW is released as an alternative to Dope and some new tracks are included such as Brooklyn Nights, Partynauseous, etc. she does one single from this album. Her team keeps the marketing mostly on social media, tik tok, and Spotify playlists as well as her Dom Perignon performance.

2024: LG7- Gaga begins the era in February with a televised Grammy performance. The sound of this album is much more distinctive to Gaga. A lot of the marketing planned for Chromatica go into this era. She headlines Coachella, releases 3 singles, has a Fortnite concert event and a VMA performance. Her tour runs during the summer months similar to Chromatica.

2025: James Bond theme song

2026: Joanne 10- number of artists guest featured on the tracks as well as alternative mixes and some unreleased material.

2027: LG8

2028: The Fame: Eternal(20 year anniversary)- The Fame and the fame monster rereleased with artist covers/features and unreleased material from that era.

2030: Chromatica 10- Chromatica and DoC tracks as well as a few unreleased songs

2031: BTW 20- BTW re-release featuring artist guest features and remixes as well as unreleased material from that era.

2032: LG9

2034: LG7- 10 year re-release with guest features and remixes and a few unreleased tracks

2035: LG10- this is her last new record as a pop artist

2037: LG8 10 year rerelease following similar format to other re-releases.

2038: ASIB- 20 year rerelease with unreleased material but no remixes.

2039: The Fame: Eternal Monster. 30 year anniversary. Includes all Fame Eternal tracks and includes a few more unreleased Fame Monster songs and potentially new or different guest features.

2042: LG9 10 year re-release following same format as other rereleases

2045: LG10 10 year re-release. It is the last release in her pop career.

obviously lots of film roles, soundtrack songs, and collaborations interspersed as well.

act 2s or Part 2s are very common and i’d love for Gaga to have 1 under her belt as much as i want her to do a Bond song.

That being said, i think Chromatica is Born This Way 2 in some ways.

I’d take BTW Act 2 over ARTPOP Act 2 anyday. :firega: Both will never see the light of day though. Good to have dreams eh. :P

Don’t play with me, it just hurts me.

That would be nice but if we're being real... not every album of hers will get anniversary remixes/outtakes/features. We got BTW10 cuz its arguably her most important album and i dont think she would do ARTPOP10 if it wasnt the fans demands. We'll probably only get merchs and 10th anniversary vinyl for joanne and chromatica
