These people kept their check mark intact, and Doja didn't. Pretty sure she is just p*ssed and hence the sour grapes on that tweet because of that.

Twitter announced that it would start removing "legacy verified checkmarks" from the profiles of celebrities, journalists, civil servants, and other public figures. Those users will have to pay for a premium Twitter subscription if they want to keep the check mark.

That’s not what happened. The reason Doja doesn’t have a verified checkmark is because she changed her name on Twitter. Any time someone changes their name or profile picture, they lose the checkmark until Twitter reviews their profile.

Doja changed her name on purpose so that the checkmark would disappear.
