Beyoncé blamed for Chlöe's low album sales

did it occur to anyone that maybe Chloe didn’t want to just fly by beyonces promo and name? I mean the two girls already have to shake the whole teen internet singer thing from when they started.

also, her solo was never going to be seismic from the outset unless she had SENSATIONALS songs and she had good ones. The hype wasn’t really there outside of Twitter and even there not that high. The best song from the duo didn’t peak that high (despite being GREAT) but album sales in general aren’t high coupled with not a ton of interest. It’s not that hard to imagine why it hasn’t done that well yet. It’s nothing to do with Beyoncé, you kidding?

I mean if I were beyonce I wouldn't promote an album that features chris brown. And it's not her job to promote things, doesn't chloe has a team?

She did need more promotion. She’s the little mermaid, she should have been hitting shoes and circuits and promoting her album as well. Maybe she was. I love Chlöe. I’ve listened to the album, it’s been growing on me, is it my favorite album? No, but I do generally agree with that more promotion was necessary. I also don’t like the cover or shot they chose for her album, I feel like for her debut they needed something that stood out a little more, or felt more luxe. I felt the shot & cover could’ve even had filters or been edited been black and white, it just needed something, it felt too much like a cover for an independent artist, & I feel like Chloe deserved a better one. If she’s going to follow in Beyoncé footsteps be on beyonces label, I want to see her looking fleek like Bey, Bey’s name is attached to that too.

her sister is little mermaid. she had promo - she performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Today Show, she was on Jimmy Fallon Show, ABC News, she did Apple Music interview with Latto and many more interviews, she also had music video with Future on release week.

Honestly she’s just not as interesting as a solo artist.. people are more interested in her sister the mermaid

I just think the album gave exactly what I expected. Her vocals are amazing but the album didn’t showcase it. None of the songs stood out or had that flare that I was wanting. I hope something happens and she will stick around bc she definitely has that star quality.
