It’s so wild and iconic saying as both a Lana and Gaga stan. They’re both friends now but the way she’s so bitter… wow. The fact Lana came out and said they didn’t actually know each other or meet, she just kinda filled in the holes “the queen of the downtown scene.” I read somewhere it was because they shared the same manager in NYC and Gaga got famous first.

While Lana is a very talented person, she also comes off as bitter person, she also dragged Gaga on her Facebook, but that’s old already

She reminds me of those people who can’t stand others being praised unless they’re getting praised as well… and they act as if they’re so “Original” :billie:

I'm glad it's in the past and I'm patiently waiting for the collab of our generation

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

As someone mentioned, for a short time in their early careers they shared a manager who would facilitate gigs for them both, specifically at a NYC club called 'The Cutting Room':

Spoiler

During their dive bar eras Gaga got tons of positive attention and was sought after, perhaps it fair to say a young Lizzy Grant felt very overshadowed by Stefani. By the time Gaga found fame Lana was still yet to have a break through, and this was around the time 'So Legit' was written. You can understand how and why Lana felt the way she did, but ofc she got her big break too and its all history now, or a "misunderstanding" as Lana put it.

I think their short, shared history is fascinating. Its wild to me that they both created these personas, that are almost polar opposites to each other, but both have found major success and still thriving all these years later.

Not the bore worms!
