The series will take place over 7 seasons, with each season covering a different book. Variety adds it will be for HBO Max and not HBO television. WB originally created 8 movies with a 2-part finale to cover each J.K Rowling novels. Though many fans of the novels have admitted that the films left out many plot points found in the books. JK Rowling will serve as a creative consultant on the series but not be a head writer like on Fantastic Beasts spin-off films." That said, HP would do well as a series because it’s got a lot of content in it. My views on JK have evolved a lot over the last few months, especially after following the witch trials podcast which helped me understand her more than I did before. With that in mind, I’m glad to see she’ll continue to give lots of creative input like she did for the movies. Would love to see if they can bring in the dark vibe we saw in the PoA. She agrees that trans people need protection but not at the expense of cis women. Same sex spaces are there for a reason. The trans people in my life also agree with that so I’m good.
