Levine 23,585 Posted April 16, 2023 Share Posted April 16, 2023 So I just did a rewatch of Insidious in the chronological order (3-4-1-2) and first of all I'm mad they killed Elise in the second movie, like how stupid you have to be? Second of all, I laughed when I see a child Jenna Ortega at the very end of Insidious 2 lmao she was so cute and of course I didn't remember her. So at the end of Insidious 2 Elisa is still with them as a spirit and the cliffangher is her getting scared of something and saying "OH MY GOD!", I wonder if the 5 movie starts from there? I doubt it tho. The original cast will be reunited so I think it will pick up several years after that (Ty Simpkins, the actor playing Dalton, is now in his 20s). The series has come to a point of no return, with the main flaw being the screenplays: and it's not even entirely the writers' fault, it's just that Saw has a very complex narrative and should've stopped with Saw 3D (which was awful anyways, despite being a true conclusion of the main storyline).they didn't succeed in twisting it right since it's full of holes, and the same screenwriters are coming back for X.
