I always wanted to start this thread and let you guys discover the art of sampling and you may discover crazy things, many songs that you didn't even know that are sampling other songs. I will post a few songs once a week and if these threads will be successful (it depends on you guys) I may do more than once a week. Soooo let's start: *all samples are starting at the exact time* Our first song is a legend The song contains 8 (!) samples but 5 of them are actually noticeable: Spoiler Can you catch these samples in the song? Next one is... The song is a rework and a straight sample of.. Spoiler they are both shares a sample chain with.. Spoiler Next song is one of my favorite It's sampling.. Spoiler Next song is sampling someone who did the thing Spoiler It also sampling in 2 different part of the song: And just to add a little Gaga bonus Is sampling.. Spoiler So that's it for this week, I hope you liked this thread. I'm a 90s kid so I'm going to cover a lot of songs from the 80s to today's music. What was the response to sampling so many songs? Was it similar to today’s “nO oNe’S OriGiNaL aNYmOrE” that you see when people sample these days? No one was online yet lol that song was a huge hit and was played at clubs, remixed to death, played on MTV. It’s iconic.
