It doesnt make any sense but I feel like she's actually going to attend, wear a pretty lowkey outfit and just kinda be there. They are in the middle of filming, and she probably doesn't have time to do a few proper rehearsals and/or rehearse in the auditorium where the show takes place. And the Oscars isn't the type of event where she would just show up and sing without some preparation. IF she was going to win, I suspect her team might have asked the director if she could get the time off. But that would make it difficult for him-it cost money to pause filming, and if he doesn't have to pause he would have to at the very least reshuffle-and I imagine she doesn't want to make it tough on the director if she isn't going to win.
