Spanish singer Miguel Bosé sparked controversy after criticizing a contestant on the program Cover Night from Spain, because the contestant sang I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor as a heterosexual man.

"This song cannot be sung by a straight man, it is a song of the heritage of women and gays, you look too straight"

I don't see his point. 

A culture becomes richer and is more likely to survive when everyone has a change to take part in it. 

I'd actually love to see more straight people enjoy cultural icons like this song and even find their own meaning in it. That's what inclusivity is about in my mind.
