Yeah, I sort of assumed a few weeks ago that if they were in the midst of filming she might not perform because a performance probably requires at least 2-3 rehearsals. For a large, expensive film, I imagine it can be hard letting her off set a couple of times, even if it's only for say a 4-6 hour period. I imagine if she thought she was going to win, she might have her team fight for her to get a break from the set, but she probably doesn't want to make things difficult for Todd Phillips. She is filming rn, and the schedule for the filming is not finished until April 6th, and of all authoritative bodies, Oscars should be one that understood that kind of circumstances for actors.
