It's been 3 years since Chromatica and she usually releases every 3-4 years... it totally makes sense that she would get back in the studio after Joker. Might not be released until 2024-25 but she'll release more of her own music eventually.

Also, not releasing anything until Joker 2 arrives can really make her irrelevant to the public commercially. Too long of a break after a mild-performing album like Chromatica. She can take a break like that without bigger problems after a successful album and even then it's a risk but after an era like Chromatica which not only was half-assed but kinda an undperformance taking four years is too much. We got lucky with Bloody Mary becoming a hit but we need her to be relevant so she can do a world tour in stadiums and not theaters because she's fallen off. 

Oh yeah, why doesn't she just release what she has this Friday and she'll figure it out as she goes? A album era takes almost a year to plan out and schedule, if she's gonna start hitting the studio after Joker then she's probably not close to being done. You're just a bit delusional if you think Gaga is gonna fall off if she doesn't release an album in the next year and a half. She's still getting headlines daily, and could still do so for things other than major projects. Promo for Joker 2 will prob soft launch sometime early summer next year, which gives her just a year and some change out of the public eye.

Why does she have a PR tour booked for this year? This makes me think maybe Joker 2 is coming earlier, maybe october-december 2023 that's why they rushed so much with the filming (they started on december 2022). In the meantime until the movie release, she could start recording and producing the album and plan the era for a release on spring/summer 2024 after Joker if its coming earlier. That's the only way I find this tweets making sense.

Anyway 2024 is still far away and I don't think I could stand and wait again that much for new original music, we aren't young anymore we're more desperate as we grow

Depends, some of the ASIB music were just demo's at the time of recording. Most of it would have to be at least somewhat finalized tho.

Oh ****, I didn’t know they were filming with demos and not finalized tracks. Is that why WDYDT sounded so different during the SNL scenes?
