I think she won this round.

She got more views and people actually talking about her because of this performance compared to if it was a less than memorable and okay.

I think she won cause I didnt even know her before this.

Sometimes gay Twitter liking something isn't a compliment lmao

Gays like the performance because it was so messy

I suppose being memorable is better than being technically good

I watched the whole performance now and it’s nowhere near bad to be honest. Rapping part is a bit funny and was taken out of context.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

Idk gays usually don't like something just because it's funny messy or cringe. If anything, they probably wouldn't celebrate a performance with any of those attributes. This has surpassed being messy and is mostly being seen as fun, sincere and campy now. All of those are why it's being celebrated by the gay community. It also helps that people are REALLY tired of the snobby atmosphere of british culture/people so they love that she shoved this in their faces. The only ones who I see judging it still are people with their pulse off of the culture/ anything current. They kinda stick out like sore thumbs now too.

This has all pretty much slingshot her to icon status now.

I enjoyed it but the way the whole rapping part game together wasn't good imo

She did sound off in that part too

And the camera work was weird
