If anything, they probably wouldn't celebrate a performance with any of those attributes. This has surpassed being messy and is mostly being seen as fun, sincere and campy now. All of those are why it's being celebrated by the gay community. It also helps that people are REALLY tired of the snobby atmosphere of british culture/people so they love that she shoved this in their faces. The only ones who I see judging it still are people with their pulse off of the culture/ anything current. They kinda stick out like sore thumbs now too.
