I was really scared she'd lost her direction and the whole Chromatica era would be a cheap mess. Something that stuck with me during the HOG press tour... there was like a 20 minute long interview she did (for Variety maybe??) and they asked her, "How far would you go?" And she mentioned that back in the day (I'm assuming ARTPOP era) there were a couple of performances/stunts that she wanted to do, but her team stopped her. They talked her out of it and told her there was no way she could do those things because she would never bounce back from the public view. I'm paraphrasing, obvs but something along these lines...
