I thought some of it must have been CGI but it looks like it's all practical effects, even the fog. I loved seeing the behind the scenes footage of her creating K-12, hopefully we get something similar to that! I also agree with that sentiment. quality over quantity, I just wish the wait wasn't as long. I know she wants everything to be just right, and as she should. It's just that 4 years can seem rather daunting especially when the era seemingly lasts months after having waited, y'know, years.. Excluding After School). But omg I could not work like her. FOUR albums planned out already? Four years apart? By the time I was getting to the album after Portals I would've thought of new ideas, gotten bored of the other three, and scrapped themĀ Ā Ā it's a lot of commitment to decide how the next 16 years of your career will go ahead of time But big YASS on the documentary! I can tell that she's learnt to space things out to make the wait less difficult for fans. She's going to be touring and releasing MVs for the next year or two, and then the entire Portals movie, a documentary.. she might even release another EP like After School in between if we're lucky. It's not going to be four years of radio silence then BOOM new era, which is nice But man I am so curious where the hell she's going after Portals, given that it's the last album with Crybaby. Is she going to be reincarnated and Melanie will create an entirely new character whose life we see unfold in another trilogy of albums/movies? We saw Crybaby's whole life until she died, now she's in between lives in Portals.
