Okay this video is a SLAY

I am so in love with this one! Everything about it. The visuals are top notch and her budget is obviously much bigger this time around! When she cuts the snake and flowers grow out.. chefs kiss

And also... it was really nice seeing actual Melanie at the beginning for a few seconds

Melanie confirms in this interview that she's planning on doing music videos AND a film 

She said unlike K-12 the music label won't be funding this film, they're just funding the music videos, and she's looking at other sponsors in the actual film industry to fund the film omg. SO much content to come!! We're gonna be well fed for the next year

Have you ever used her perfume? That was a bit before my time, I discovered Mel towards the end of Crybaby, just as she released K-12.

Maybe I wanna get some of the old perfume

I am so curious what a Portals era perfume will smell like! The Crybaby perfume was so in line with that era, with notes of lipstick, strawberry milk, baby lotion, dark woods etc... so I'm imagining the Portals one will be too.

I'm imagining lots of earthy notes.. like woods and florals (honeysuckle for Tunnel Vision?), maybe moss (there's a delicious note called oakmoss that actually smells so good), vetiver, patchouli, maybe something smoky or wood-firey, maybe fresh accords like grass or spring water, but still overall fairly sweet

Unfortunately I never had the perfume despite being a fan since before it came out  but, if my memory serves me correctly the perfume was described as a unisex scent more on the sweet side

 

If you do, good luck! (I mean it ) they go for the hundred's now I believe

It’s ridiculously expensive, just find a dupe tbh.

 

it was pretty much like strawberry nesquick in its powder form with a bit of richness and creaminess

Besides the smell, I am super curious to see what the design of the bottle/packaging will be! the cry baby perfume was so aesthetically pleasing and I wonder what she'll do with the portals era perfume!

You make great points tho! I think if I had to guess, I'd say what you imagined!
