I'm a member here since 2017 but never left a comment in any topic but Im reading you every day The pic from the set is shocking. Their exrpessions, their eyes contact are chilling. I'm really looking foward to see the movie. Many are complaining about the colour of her hair and that she looks like herself. I'm a DC fan too, I read comics like a maniac since I was a kid. Her look is 100% Harleen Quinzel. I dont think that we'll se her as the villain Harley Quinn but her early version, the young blond psychiatrist that falls in love with a psychopath criminal during his therapy sessions on Arkham Asylum. In the first movie we saw Arthur transforming into Joker at the end of the film so if we see Harley Quinn here I think that it will happen with a similar way. I love the look in her eyes, she sppears to be converying different things at once. Also it's funny that the most her detractors can say is that she looks like herself, because why is the bar so extremely high for Gaga when every other actor looks like themselves in most movies. You know she likes to do method acting and sometimes it is hard for her to disassociate herself with the role she is doing. Given that Harley and Joker is quite unstable, I hope she has a mental health team that helps ground herself and not get too lost in the head of Harley. Harley is a complex character and has this twisted love/fear/hate infatuation with Joker. Bevause in most movies they’re playing normal people not an established character with an established look lmao I agree that it’s fine she look normal here but this isn’t a bar set high for Gaga; people also thought heath ledger didn’t have the “look” for joker when he was announced.
