Y’all need to stop with the comments about him this is still her FATHER. And I couldn’t imagine being Gaga and reading snippy and nasty comments about her father from her OWN fans. Yes, you don’t have to like the man or his views or anything you’re entitled to your opinion, but coming for her father is NOT the answer here!

I don’t think anyone should be immune to valid criticism.

He is actively and voluntarily putting himself and his opinions out there on Fox News tho. The talking heads on these news stations are not immune to criticism, why make an exception for him? It's not like we're critiquing Cynthia, or Gaga's boyfriend Michael - they are not public figures, or trying to be one, whereas Gaga's dad appears to be starting a second career as a contributor. Were the Brit fans supposed to ignore Jamie Spears' behavior? Are Beyonce fans not supposed to have opinions about Mathew Knowles whenever he comes out the woodwork broadcasting a questionable opinion to the press?

As a resident of NYC, I can have an opinion on anyone publicly spreading misinformation about the safety and condition of my home.

And on that note I will say this man is a buffoon who is clearly trying to garner an audience likely for the sake of his business. The city is safer than it was in 2020, and tourism is booming. The trash has ALWAYS been on the streets, just like the rats and homeless. That's part of New York and always has been. Don't buy into the sensationalism.

I'll also note that anyone who's slamming the city and praising the cops is, well.......making choices. :huntyga:

My mom is a Trumper. I love her to death, but still. It's a lot.

Gaga, if you're reading? I feel your pain.

I get what you're saying but to be fair he was just saying that he was nice to cops and always asked them if they need something. That's perfectly fine. Not all cops are bad and these are people who for the most part are doing their job.

I can't stand the whole anti-cop far leftist thing, which runs on gross generalizations that I'm not fond of. But yeah if someone starts saying that cops can do anything and not be held accountable or defend a bad cop behavior that's where the line should be drawn. He hasn't done that (yet :billie:)

Girl he was making a point and we all know it. There is a LOT of criticism towards the NYPD and how they treat lower income people, POC, etc. They literally target subway stations in poor neighborhoods to arrest people who can't pay the $2.75 fare.

To commend them on FOX NEWS, and say that his business is essentially a safe, welcoming place for them is a definite choice.
