Addison Rae 16,927
“Can a debut album be a comeback? I wish I could say that Let Her Burn is a scintillating and surprisingly poignant send-up of Rebecca Black’s image and history as a self-created subject of internet scorn, but sadly it is one of the most joyless and interminably dull pop records of the past few years—and confirmation that “Friday” is still the most interesting piece of music she’s ever made.” sitting on his lap sipping diet pepsi
likeitrough 5,862
"It’s proof that, in less than four years, hyperpop has gone from being a fun, hotly contested new microgenre to being a hacky shortcut into the zeitgeist." my thoughts exactly. throwing scratchy tin can sounds and some brutal sfx on to any pop song so it can be labelled as 'alternative' and 'hyperpop'
RudraCNG 15,221
I mean, they drag her during the whole review but she still got a 4.4. What would they say about a 0 album?

What would they say about a 0 album? Their review of Maneskin shows what takes you from a 4.4 to a 2.0. Maybe that's a start to understanding what would actually get a 0 Måneskin: Rush! freebit 6,240
P4K always goes for easy targets. I would respect them if they actually took no prisoners and were critical of even the sacred cows of music, but they never do.
monstertoronto 10,383
The way this reviewer sounds like a bully. Rebecca Black has gone on the record about how traumatic the whole Friday thing was for her, and it’s pretty obvious that the new songs are miles better that that song, even if they aren’t to everyone’s taste. This reviewer is trying too hard to e edgy by being this mean.

Have to agree with this unfortunately, they’ve been playing it safe for the last 5 years. Kind of understand them though, imagine the swifties if midnight got anything below 7. nATAH 50,433
if i were famous i would simply make it loud and clear that Pitchfork is my arch nemesis i would release visuals of me destroying their work again and again and make tiktoks mocking their reviews they would never know peace until they sorted their sh*t out mother, what must i do?
