An equivalent role to something like Dr. Melfi, Marie Schrader, Olenna Tyrell – i.e., a role big enough to make a significant impact but not nearly as central a character as others on the show. It’s a very dark comedy For anyone who doesn’t know, in the show The White Lotus is a brand of upscale hotels (like the Four Seasons) and each season of the show takes place in a different location. The first season was in Hawaii, second in Sicily, and the upcoming third in Asia. Since they each follow a new group of travelers at a different location the cast basically gets reset every season, with only a handful of characters returning (so we probably wouldn’t get Gaga and Aubrey). She wants to do vegas, hopefully another album soon, and prob has more film projects lined up. I think she’s so funny that I would love to see her in a comedy but honestly I wonder if it would work. She’s so intense that she might not be able to pull off the breeziness and light touch for a comedy. There were charming scenes in ASIB, so maybe it could be a very specific type of comedy, like a dramedy, or a deal comedy. I’d love to see her in something like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. A memorable role that is not a lead would be very good on her resume I think. Preferably a funny or a non-glamourous character. Thinking back on her interview with Jake Gyllenhaal, a movie with him would be amazing. And Broadway eventually would be epic.
