Asking her to revisit ARTPOP would also be asking her to revisit all of the betrayals, “flops”, doomed collaborations (rk*lly), and more. We all know she doesn’t want to revisit this era. She was barely surviving during this time. In my opinion, Iet’s just appreciate ARTPOP for what it is and let it be. Reviving ARTPOP also means reviving the potentially career ending DWUW debacle (especially the music video). Let’s be grateful that disaster has been successfully swept under the rug and that the GP is finally rooting for her again. Remember… ARTPOP can mean anything. Chromatica is ARTPOP, Joker is ARTPOP. ARTPOP is about dissolving boundaries and that’s exactly what Gaga has been doing over the past ten years. The MTV interview w/ DJWS made it sound like the only thing keeping them from being able to release Act II was bureaucratic red tape, which could be resolved much more easily if the record label saw that there was actually demand for this music. Maybe when Gaga is in a later stage in her career it would be fun and nostalgic to release act II or whatever. HOWEVER, The original LG5... That is something I would love to listen to.
