If vogueing is so sacred, why didn't Leiomy say anything about Jameela f*cking Jamil judging ballroom alongside her on that sh*tshow Legendary? 

Is Leiomy not aware that Michelle Visage learned how to vogue from Willi Ninja himself, in the ballroom scene during the 1980s?? Like all of this is so gatekeepy, dismissive and entirely out of pocket

I don't think Anetra's performance as bad and can agree that I get a bit "ehh..." When watching someone vogue sloppily. At the end as long as they aren't pushing it and having fun, I don't see the issue. It's just ballroom I guess.

Leiomy has been around longer than RDR and has always been critical of vogue performances on tv. There are only a handful of voguers like her around. If anyone is gonna gatekeep, it should be someone of high caliber like her. 

Aja on the other hand... She just likes to be messy.  But I still trust her opinions over so many other people as she is the International Mother of the Royal House of Labeija after all

Noguing on RDR isn't that serious to me but it is annoying to see people go wild for something done sloppily

Half of the contestants in Legendary were nouguing, they had white, Asian, folk doing it. Out of the sudden a Latin/Asian queen in DragRace Voguing is appropriation? 
this is so unnecessary, ball room has always been about inclusion and community, Michelle came form the ball room scene too, she loved it. So that’s all it matters.  Leiomy is just truly bitter and nasty

The contestants on Legendary were actually part of ballroom communities. They were dedicating their lives to this craft.

Voguing is a cultural thing and there’s so much evidence to show that with a simple google search of voguing’s history I’m pretty sure lol. 
while there’s duality in the takes of Aja and Leiomy’s response Leiomy holds history and significance within the ballroom scene. More so than Aja. Instead of getting defensive and calling her “bitter” and “gatekeeper” maybe we should idk sit back and listen and process 

Aja’s was definitely gatekeeping though but I think she showed that it stems from being a hater so stop being haters with Leiomy pls… lol

it may have ballroom inspired elements but it is NOT ballroom
