I’ve wanted her to go to the next level and magic some original jazz pop ever since then! While I like LFS too, and obviously it’s special for being Tony’s last work, I have only listened a few times. ABBA’s first album in 40 years came out around that time and I had that on a level of repeat that I would normally consider obnoxious! Nothing else stood a chance. Plus I admit I was hoping for something a little different from her next Jazz endeavor, that doesn’t mean LFS isn’t good. I just like the approach she took on this one better. Her solos "Do I Love You?" and "Let's Do It" are stunning. The title track is the standout duet for me. More like I was driving us and forced my parents to listen to it in the car. 😂 My dad was humming along. I first heard it during Gaga's Westfield concert where she sang the songs live. I advise you to watch the live version first cause you get to see Gaga sing all the songs solo and some of her original songs too!
