I initially thought Renée Zellweger didn't look like Judy Garland, but her performance in that movie was extraordinary and convincing. I just really hope this movie is handled well, Amy is one of my favorite artists of all time and she deserves her story to be told in the best possible way. Cameltoe Chariot 14,549 Posted January 13, 2023 Share Posted January 13, 2023 It's weird, because I was an Amy stan from the beginning with "Frank" and the whole experience of watching her spiral while the world laughed in her face and egged her on was f*cking traumatic. To this day I feel so defensive of her, and I think about her often... I really miss her, and I truly think we were robbed of one of the greatest artists of our time. A movie about her life where people will profit from it is really gross.
