It has multiple meanings “if you’re a real boy , don’t play with me” - she could be taking about gender roles/queerness , the music industry, her heartbreak etc .. it has layers people ! It’s one of the songs on the album that feel very futuristic and ‘Chromatica’ I hope she performs it too at Enigma revamped. Id love it to be technologic and epic and the crowd singing along .
