W is always making such weird, self-sabotaging choices for The Hollywood Issue, here they're small, but still off. Like the font being incongruent with such a sleek cover, and cheesy coquette socks with pink Mary Janes on a womanly, sophisticated looking Margot. If they wanted to reference Barbie then the cute pink phone would have sufficed tbh - she looks like a very sexy Barbie in modern Hollywood without the tragic socks & shoe choice. Literally all this ^ It's weird too, because the runway look is sock-less with black/brown shoes (way sexier), and the EIC who styled the shoot decided to add the socks and pink shoes.
