CatelynnMarie 4,313 Posted January 4, 2023 Share Posted January 4, 2023 i side with her here and even though it's sad for me as a very long time Grimes music fan, the safety/ health of herself, children, family, and friends are important, regardless of money, things, or notoriety. also as an artist i understand. she's always been bad with deadlines and things, which is something i always understood as so was i (due to illnesses and things mainly, but i just get it). happy to see we will still get BOOK 1 and more music in the future though. as much as i personally want more and more music more frequently, and how annoying it is to be a fan of someone's music that doesn't release often or postpones releases (there's other artist's/ band's music i stan as well that does this same thing), maybe it's for the best overall. makes the releases more special of a moment. idk i'm trying to look positive about it, especially that she made a statement. even though, that sometimes doesn't mean much with Grimes. i'm just personally gonna continue focusing on other music out there and whenever it comes, it comes Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Still finding new favs among her discography every now and then. By the time I get bored Book 1 should hopefully be out.
