"Eilish has a track record on climate justice: In 2022 she greened her Happier Than Ever world tour in partnership with the nonprofit Reverb; a year prior, she famously secured a guarantee from Oscar de la Renta’s creative directors, Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim, to stop selling fur when she wore their design to her first #MetGala; she refuses to fly private and staged a six-day climate summit last June called Overheated, where the pop star let other musicians, sustainable fashion designers, and activists take center stage.

For Vogue’s January digital cover story and video, Eilish joined a group of young climate activists and organizers for a day of conversation about the future of the planet, filmed by Academy Award-nominated writer-director Mike Mills. The group wore sustainable fashion for the mini-summit—with Eilish in @Balmain—and they talked about community, justice, the precariousness of the present, and the persistence of a kind of radical hope for a better tomorrow."

I love this. The fact she looks rough is wonderful. She doesn't even look rough, the photo is rough. Def makes the cover stand out from other Vogue covers. Billie keeps it real
