And this where their criteria range, that's not the list of best vocalist.

Mr S 8,672
Rolling Stone has updated it's 2008 list of greatest singers. Lady Gaga is #58. Only Beyonce and Adele are ranked higher for people under 40. Aretha Franklin is #1, Whitney Houston is runner up. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-lists/best-singers-all-time-1234642307/whitney-houston-11-1234643211/
Wet Fire 7,353
The audacity to not include Celine Dion in the list Gaga is better than quite a few singers ranking above her Anyway, they need to reveal their methodology for this list. Otherwise it's just chaotic and no one will take it seriously
Economy 49,397
Good singers but I still don't get why ppl care so much about these arbitrary lists from magazines or bloggers
REALITY 76,082
It's clear that most of y'all didn't read the actual article. The list isn't based on vocal talent. "Before you start scrolling (and commenting), keep in mind that this is the Greatest Singers list, not the Greatest Voices List. Talent is impressive; genius is transcendent. Sure, many of the people here were born with massive pipes, perfect pitch, and boundless range. Others have rougher, stranger, or more delicate instruments. As our write-up for the man who ended up at Number 112 notes, “Ozzy Osbourne doesn’t have what most people would call a good voice, but boy does he have a great one.” That could apply to more than a few people here. In all cases, what mattered most to us was originality, influence, the depth of an artist’s catalog, and the breadth of their musical legacy. A voice can be gorgeous like Mariah Carey’s, rugged like Toots Hibbert’s, understated like Willie Nelson’s, slippery and sumptuous like D’Angelo’s, or bracing like Bob Dylan’s. But in the end, the singers behind it are here for one reason: They can remake the world just by opening their mouths." I do think there are clear omissions from this list that are very questionable (notably Celine Dion), but y'all trying to argue "Well 'x' person is a worst technical singer than 'y', why are they so high up?!" aren't taking other factors into account. Like, is Taylor Swift the best singer out there? No. Far from it. But you cannot argue the impact and influence she has as an artist. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎

Well it doesn't seem so If that is the case than I am sorry, I love Ari A LOT, but she does not surpass Gaga in any of those categories so why is she higher?
