Ur right tho chromatica and Joanne lack a true Gaga soul.  They are the least Gaga albums due to her growing up and possibly not being as inspired and working with more songwriters and pre existing songs 

 

that being said, Alice 911 Replay and Enigma made the album worth it. It is a huge shame the rest of the album is a skip for me.

This is such a rude and flamebaity take. The initial COVID outbreak was a really awful time in my life and the same goes for a lot of other people. Chromatica helped me get through that and was one of the only positive things going on at that time.

Many of us were out there contending with the world very much being on fire. Life was hell in 2020 for so many people so having an album with lyrics about pain and surviving was very much an anchor for a lot of people.

I don't even really care for Chromatica in comparison to every other album but even I can see that

I think gaga... hasnt sold out much, i do think she was trying to be chart friendly tho, just because most of the songs are only 2 mins long and all of them are structured the same way

which is not a bad thing, part of being successful in music is learning how to play the charts and learning how to still make music true to yourself, she seems to have a good balance of both most times

Lyrically I think it contains some of her best particularly 911, Replay & Enigma.
