Wolf Boy 3,235
It looks good and i love Margot, but reviews have been mixed and it’s a 3 hour drama. That’s a hard sell for audiences.
Creyk 17,805
The trailers made it seem like a very bad movie. I am glad others thought the same.
dubstep111 664
I called that this was gonna flop way back when Amsterdam came out. How those 3 people can sit thru these films much less pay for a ticket is beyond me.

SpadesToStart 3,444
It looked funny, but from the teasers I’ve seen, I still have no idea what it was about, which is a problem when you’re trying to get butts in seats

They thought viewers would want to watch all these celebrities have a party, but like, why would we want to? A pretentious film with nothing to draw us in other than the cast. PASS Honestly it's what the trailer gave: " Make these peasants dream with cocaine filled Hollywood parties". Except no peasant cared actually. 😆
Jack3257 741
I’m a film student and had the pleasure of going to an advanced screening of this film. It’s AMAZING, probably my favorite of the year. However, the audience was divided. I know a lot of other people who loved it and others who hated it. The film is three hours long so that can be a challenge to get people in the theaters if the film isn’t part of a big franchise (like Marvel or Avatar). In addition, a lot of people don’t like that there isn’t as much of a clear plot as there is overall story if that makes sense (there are three characters all with different Hollywood dreams who loosely interact/cross paths with each other). My advice: GO SEE IT!!! It’s amazing, but won’t be everyone’s favorite film.

Don't personally know anyone whose priority rn is to go whatch a movie at the theaters Christmas is actually a really big time for new movie releases. The only thing I've found was this (from Wikipedia): 'In September 2016, the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services investigated Pitt for child abuse following an incident on a plane, where Pitt was accused by an anonymous person of being "verbally abusive" and "physical" towards one of his children. In its final report on the investigation, the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services ruled that Pitt did not physically abuse any of his children. I thought it would gross so much Eh I think the problem is that they tried to keep the details close to the chest for so long that it built NO hype until the last hour like the last 3 months. For smashes these days you need to play a long con for marketing
HausOfHarlow 380
I saw the movie opening night yesterday and I was the only patron in the theatre, granted, it was a 4:00pm matinee. Christmas weekend (and a friday, not even Christmas Day (a big day for the movies), coupled with an arctic blast across most of the country, plus the general moviegoer not having any idea what it is about is probably what had led to this abysmal box office score. I thought the movie was entertaining, though about 45 minutes too long. It was a lot of fun and very cinematic and chaotic and wild.

The first result that comes on Google is literally Angelina’s own testimony where she said this: Her filing goes on to describe an extended physical and verbal outburst in September 2016 as Mr. Pitt, Ms. Jolie and their six children flew from France to California. “Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face” and “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her,” the filing states, adding that at one point “he poured beer on Jolie; at another, he poured beer and red wine on the children.” Federal authorities, who have jurisdiction over flights, investigated the incident but declined to bring criminal charges. Days after the plane trip, Ms. Jolie filed for divorce. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/10/04/movies/angelina-jolie-brad-pitt-lawsuit.html How is Angelina Jolie an anonymous person? LilyLark 10,091
Brad is a powerful, wealthy yt man who can afford the best legal team. Leaving Angelina aside, the fact that he had supervised visitation with CPS tagging along FOR YEARS is very damning. Do you know how bad it has to be for that to occur? It's honestly pretty gross-and typical-of Hollywood to just sweep that under the rug. I've already seen people spinning this as Margot or Diego's fault, when Diego was hardly featured in the marketing & the ads pushed Brad and Margot.
