Was Jewels & Drugs a mistake?

Looking back,

did Gaga and her team gain absolutely nothing from releasing and including this track on ARTPOP?  I think many fans consider this their least favorite/listened to track from the album, even from Gaga’s entire discography.

We could’ve had a different track in place of it.  Honestly Cake Like Lady Gaga would’ve been amazing!  I think what’s missing from this song is Gaga.  Too many featured artists and verses, it doesn’t feel like a Gaga song, but a song that Gaga is featured on- the same issue I have with SOUR CANDY.

idk what do y’all this?

bottom line- does Jewels and Drugs deserve its spot on ARTPOP? Or do you wish we got a different song?

Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga”

I like it but gets exhausting after a while. Too many features and the DJWS breakdown (which we later hear on one of Manicure’s demo) is too much going on. I’d have wanted anything else instead but Gaga wanted to do something out of the box. Partynauseous, Temple, Tea, Brooklyn Nights etc. they picked that one for a reason.

I always skip it. It is my least listened to Gaga song in her entire discography.

I actually like it in the context of ARTPOP, it's a nice break from the EDM sound.

As a standalone song, not my favorite, but I also don't skip it if it pops up in shuffle mode in a playlist.

I think it slaps more than many other songs on the album... :excuseu: Also I like her vocals and the funny lyrics more than in Dope for an example. :koons:

I wouldn't say it's a mistake but I wish it didn't exist and Cake Like Lady Gaga was a single

It's better than pl*stic d*ll at least, so there's that :poot:

I mean… :glamourpuss: maybe we can say it was one of her worst at the time, but after Joanne and Chromatica, there’s a lot more to chose from as her worst song.

Was Van Gogh art at the time he was alive and painted a mistake? For Van Gogh  generation in 18xx Yes...now in 2022 a Van Gogh paint Is million dollar worth ...art Is never ever a mistake...It depends on the perspective you see It..

I think it's a case of too many ideas going on at once. also it doesn't help that her most vocal audience is MPG stans so an experimental hip-hop song with 3 male features isn't likely to gel with most of them.
