I almost think that that comment was more about only doing one thing per day vs having multiple things happen in a day. Gaga has always been quietly working on new Music, finished Joanne in 6 months and had a lot written for ASIB in the same time frame. She had lots of time since Chromatica Recording finished in late 2019 to create new Music + usually after a Tour or on Tour she‘s very creative, writing the skeleton Songs for Albums (except for Joanne). Since Joanne her focus on why or how to write Music switched a lot, she goes on different about how to make or create an Album -> the writing Music with Bloodpop helped her get back into rhythm and find a flow. Once Joker 2 ends filming in April, she won‘t have to do press or anything for it until it comes out October 2024. Speaking against a Pop Album Gaga was so involved with the WHO and during the presidential Campaign for Biden in 2020 that she may not have been in the right headspace, especially when HoG filmed a few months later. The premiere was a bit later that year, L4S (limited) Promo Campaign started and in mid 2022 she was touring Chromatica. Now she has been seen preparing for Joker 2 + doing recording for it the past few weeks. Her filming is supposed to start in January - April. She may not have recorded anything. I really like rock, soft, hard, bluesy almost any variant. Metal is *usually* difficult to listen too , for me, because it has no breathing room, the whole sound is just full blare all the time. I like songs that could be on guitar hero with guitar parts that a master musician would rif. Combine that with earworming chorus and verses that are not all about mental illness (please, pretty please). Disco is ok and never has the full blare issue that I have with metal. I can't see it being ready for next year if she starts working on it after Joker wraps filming in April, especially considering the delays that the industry is having with vinyl manufacturing right now. For artists like Gaga, who rely heavily on physical sales for a large amount of their units, albums are being finished at least six months before they are released in order to have time for vinyl pressings which are the biggest form of physical sales at the moment. Unless the album is already very much in the works, I can't see Gaga spending only two or three months working on it to have it ready by the end of 2023. But who knows, we shall see. Maxine Puth 9,053 Posted December 16, 2022 Share Posted December 16, 2022 Honestly I’d prefer if she focused next year on side projects, ideally we could have an ARTPOP 10th anniversary with new songs (or of corse ACT II), not to mention the CBT movie, and maybe a live album. I feel like things like that would require minimal time compared to finishing a full studio album. If she’d rather push out LG7 I’m not complaining though.
