Freud 5,418
Hello Monsters, as I'm having Covid right now and quarantine at home, I had time to create an Album Cover of ARTPOP ACT II I wanted to keep it close to the Original to reference it, for further details/thoughts to my Artwork, check the Spoilers. Spoiler Concept: The Painting "The Birth of Venus" by Sandro Boticelli is featured as in the original ARTPOP cover, but now becomes the centerpiece of the Artwork, As Gaga represents the Goddess Venus herself, an alter Ego created by Gaga, many fans loved throughout the ARTPOP cycle. As Gaga herself was represented as an artpiece created by Jeff Koons on the original Albumcover, now she herself tries to represent an artpiece on this Version. The now infamous Koons-Ball fades into the background, representing the pearl inside the Venus-shell. The other Artwork represents the sculpture of David, created by Michelangelo, an Artist Gaga has referenced in some of her Songs as well. The Statue shows the story behind the biblical figure of David, that makes himself ready for the fight against Goliath. Although physically inferior to the giant Goliath, he wins the fight against all odds and to the surprise of many. Just as ARTPOP and GAGA at that time were underrated, scrutenized and laughed at, time has proven that ARTPOP and GAGA have won the fight against the society at the time, the Pop Music machinery, and everything Goliath represents. The second Star is a visual addition for the second Act.
