What more is she supposed to do? I agree, she should probably make an empty statement directly addressing her fans behavior just to silence the obnoxious mouths that genuinely believe she should take responsibility for that issue. Yes, it should be an empty statement regarding the fan base's overall negativity, addressing no one situation specifically. She isn't responsible but I feel like if she DID make an open statement, such as this one to her fans, people will respect it. Even if fans do not follow suit (a lot of them claim not to be "brainwashed" and they're set in their "evil ways" toward others), it will still make her look good and other celebrities who are/will be attacked could at least look past it. Even if no one listens and it makes absolutely no difference, at least it would make HER look better. No, other stans would just say "Monsters are so bad even Gaga had to denounce them.," No one remembers Gaga praising Adele, just that some off her fans were mean. Gaga can never win. You can be a fan of both, you can embrace both philosophies, because nothing is black and white except good movies. Kelly made silly sweeping generalizations about a whole fanbase, GaGa made a heavy handed response that her Mommy co-singed. I think they both acted...weird. At the end of the day, I will continue to watch Fashion Police (mostly for Joan's Holocaust jokes) and I will buy ARTPOP. Joan makes Holocaust jokes? Celebrities actually do respond, Xtina being one recently, after Kelly and the group made fun of her weight gain. It's ironic, seeing as Kelly was attacked for her weight as well. Kelly is a b---h, period, watch 5 minutes of the show and it's really not a hard conclusion to make. Truth. And I can't with the fans that stress how "objective" and not "brainwashed" they are. The delusion on their end is as strong as it is with those who they deem delusional.
