Skins 40
Omfg. Nicely written and I agree with it 100% Still mad that Monsters bullied her. Shouldn't of done that, Gaga must've been mad.
misanthrope 15
Of course some of the ggd people only choose to post on this forum during times like this so they can spew out their higher-than-thou bull**** about not being delusional and calling gaga out on her supposed hypocrisy :fail: Edited January 10, 2013 by misanthrope
Miel 15,009
No, I'm glad that she addressed it. That's not what I was implying at all. What I'd really like for her to do is write a similar letter to her fan base. 3 points in and ready for more
imasugarush 0
I'm really dissapointed at Gaga for this letter. I don't even need to say why, a lot of members here already stated the reasons. It's also funny how when someone big says something she just keeps quiet, but when Kelly Osbourne says something (and she wasn't even wrong) Gaga writes a ****ing open letter? Yeah right. Also, funny how she acts like "I'm nobody's mother", when this was the image that made her sell so many concert tickets and albums last year, I wonder if she would have gotten as far without it. She could spend five seconds of her precious time just telling her childish fans on twitter to stop this bull**** instead of spending so many time writing a open letter to try to look like Gandhi or something. Say I'm mad, whatever, I really am, I've never felt let down by her like this before. She's not saying I'm nobodies mother, she's saying she tries to influence her fans through interviews/musoc/etc and saying it's point blank wrong to hate, but that's as much as she can do, which it literally is. She acknowledges her influence but reminds Kelly she can only do so much. I think she should have reinstated it's wrong to hate, but as many people have said here.. all fanbases have crazies, not everyone in it is like that.. and anyone especially celebs get down right hate on twitter for no reason. just because these are Gaga fans doesn't really make much difference. She's basically just standing up for what she's created with BTW foundation, and becoming defensive on an attack on her fanbase as a whole, who she wants to reinstate she has breeded a message of positivity/love within.. she has a whole foundation based on it... so people saying things like that is a bit damning for her tbh. Exactly. I honestly can't believe some people are twisting it around to be something negative on Gaga's part. Its nothing more than a rightfully defensive and generally respectable statement. Seriously this fanbase is just ridiculous. Internet has ruined the pop star. This. Oh god not you again......your distaste for gaga doesn't belong on this forum honestly. I'm surprised you've never gotten banned. Edited January 10, 2013 by misanthrope
SKANK 14,288
I like Joan Rivers and her scathing wit, I like Lady GaGa and her bag of hippy dippy lollypops and rainbows. You can be a fan of both, you can embrace both philosophies, because nothing is black and white except good movies. Kelly made silly sweeping generalizations about a whole fanbase, GaGa made a heavy handed response that her Mommy co-singed. I think they both acted...weird. At the end of the day, I will continue to watch Fashion Police (mostly for Joan's Holocaust jokes) and I will buy ARTPOP.

TOSK 640
 I'm sorry but Gaga is just being plain hypocrite , she puts herself in this moral character preaching about love and all that . but yet she does weed From someone who was a teenager in the 60's, Love and weed are good things
BILLIONAIRExBOY 4
The idiocy in this thick ass messy thread is horrendous. Kelly Osbourne is a LOSER , Joan Rivers is a LOSER . The two other flops on the show are LOSERS as well. She sits on her irrelevant show ridiculing every celebrity for their appearance like a LOSER .And when she gets some of her own medicine she complains about. She honestly looks like a butthurt wimp who never got to eat at the cool kids table and now that she has to chance to slander them from every direction she does it happily. Gaga shouldve never wasted her time on her . She's trash. T-R-A-S-H.
imasugarush 0
They believe mocking her and having a negative opinion IS the rational viewpoint. What they fail to comprehend though is that their mindset is just as delusional as constantly praising her, its just on the other extreme end of the spectrum. I have a right to voice my opinion just like anyone else. If you can't deal with my opinions, maybe you can't handle a message board for the exchange of ideas and should go to littlemonsters.com. Sara 1,128
I think Gaga feels protective of us. If Kelly had simply attacked Gaga, I bet Gaga wouldn't have said anything. But she attacked her fans, so Gaga jumps on Kelly's case a little. It was a very well-written letter! My only concern is that this paints Kelly into a corner, because she makes a LIVING making the kinds of comments she does. If Kelly were to be nicer, her ratings would go down. I'm sure of it. Liza 618
Gaga needs to stop for a second and think of all the terrible things her fanbase has done before, before she accuses others. All the threats and insults to other celebrities, Kelly, Adele, Christina, Nicki, Justin, even to MarcMonster on Twitter. Not really talking about the typical "Katy Perry sucks" comment, but the ones where the entire fanbase just GOES IN at someone (like what happened with Kelly is a good example, but there are tons more with Adele, Xtina, and Nicki). I'm aware that other fanbases have bad people in them too, but if Gaga wants to keep the whole loving and open minded fanbase that she so desires she should've said something, even in an attempt to calm everyone down. You can say that it's not all of the fanbase and I know it's not, but the hatred monsters spew on twitter has received media attention and Gaga should have addressed her monsters then. Just tell them "guys, calling Adele fat isn't cool, she's beautiful and talented" while it was happening and maybe some people may have stopped. But no. Monsters have ranted and sent death threats and bullied others and Gaga hasn't said a thing directly to these fans about their behaviour. Kelly criticised Gaga saying she should've walked the red carpet, was then sent threats and insults and told to get raped, and then it was over. Now when Kelly talks about being bullied and her troubles, says that Gaga's fanbase is the worst - COMING FROM EXPERIENCE - Gaga tells her to stop being mean on her show (pretty much what she's saying here people) ignoring her monster's actions. If this doesn't make sense I'm sorry I'm typing really fast and ranting out. Edited January 10, 2013 by Liza
