PopBitch 1,218 Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 Although the most important part of this letter is the fact that gaga is FINALLY sayin' to some of her die-hards to actually tone it down some notches and stop tweeting people to drop dead, i mean what the actual F with those people Where is the longwinded open letter addressed to the rabid part of her fanbase then? Remember how long it took her to address the bullying Adele deal. It went on for quite a while until Gaga was publicly called out about her fans. That's my only point. When people say, other parts of other popstars' fanbase are bad, too, I agree. One big difference. Those popstars aren't basing their popstar identity on anti-bullying, all love and kindness, and then she's got a segment of her fanbase that is horrible. She's sees it. Where has her big open letter been to them because it bothers her and she wants to stop it as much as she can, because they worship her. I find it all hypocritical. She actually doesn't MAKE FUN of people she says whether she liked the outfit or not and what could have improved it etc. Doesn't matter anyway, none of those people are killing themselves over the comments they make on that show, none of the people that they 'criticize' probably even watch the damn show, they are ****ing famous and in St Tropez or smoking pot with Gaga at Chateau Marmont. Too busy too care. People are directly insulting Kelly and being far more cruel than that show could ever be. Telling her ti kill herself etc, no matter how much you want to deflect it onto Kelly being a hypocrite, what fans in this group do is so ****ing cruel. Making it about kelly instead of how we act as a fanbase is pathetic, check yourselves before you hate on her for making fun of rich celebs. Whether or not the message of the BTWF can be related to the situation, as a legitimate non-profit org, she should not be dragging it ANYWHERE NEAR any sort of feud or back and forth sparring she may have with anyone. Just looks unprofessional. Kelly already brought it in with comments suggesting Gaga should control her fans, and not doing so contradicts her message. She has been involved into feuds with other celebs, and in 2011 I remember how loudly she was trying to point at every mistake of Gaga, saying "gaga did that wrong", "gaga is copying that" and so on. And the idea to judge the WHOLE FANBASE by reading the comments of some people who think to be this fanbase (and certainly do not represent the majority) IS RIDICULOUS! I am not judging Madonna fans by stupid and often violent comments I see under every Gaga article on Billboard, cause I know not everybody is that way. All I'm saying is calling a fan base names is no worse than something Gaga does i.e. promotes the fur industry. In my opinion I see no difference. Kelly should of never generalized our fanbase... plus she should of never said that she thought Gaga was pregnant in the first place, it was stupid of her to say so what does she expect in response.
