misanthrope 15
Not really. If Katy Perry had an insane fanbase who insulted and threatened everyone, and then she went on to write an open letter to someone about how mean they were being (ignoring actions of her own fanbase), I'd think it was rubbish too. Hypocritical, and that before she goes in at someone scolding them, she should look at her own fanbase first. You can't dismiss my point like that. While it may happen in every fanbase, it doesn't excuse this one's actions and behaviour to others, especially the fanbase who claim to be loving/open minded/kind. Plus, Gaga's fanbase has received media attention from it, while others don't. It's unfair in that sense, maybe. Plus everyone had no right to go crazy at Kelly. Saying that monsters were the worst comes from her experience with them, which is what Gaga should look at, not Kelly herself. So you're saying Gaga is the only pop artist that should be held accountable for every mean comment each and every one of her fans ever made on the internet about someone famous. That makes sense. TheProfessor 289
You guys need to stop bickering and think about how we are going to save GaGa from the wrath of Sharon Osbourne. tiffa 169
She needs empty damage control to silence the obnoxious mouths of those that for some reason genuinely believe she should be held responsible for every single little monster that has ever talked **** about another artist. No one said Gaga is responsible for others' actions, not even her own fan's, but the least she could do is address it. If she should simply empty damage control, then this letter to Kelly was also unnecessary.
Liza 618
So you're saying Gaga is the only pop artist that should be held accountable for every mean comment each and every one of her fans ever made on the internet about someone famous. That makes sense. Not meaning to come across like that at all. I just believe that if my fans (if I were famous) had such a bad reputation for being terrible to celebrities and other fans, I couldn't just sit there like she does and let it happen. Each to their own, I guess. She can't control everyone, but even mentioning that some people's behaviour is pathetic may help, not just the fanbase but her too, particularly when people are getting told to get raped and die (more than just being mean). Up to her anyway. I know people aren't really gonna agree with me on this so I'm just gonna leave it.

For those fans that dont wanna go by this road i dont give a **** tbh and that wont be her responsabilite goes she never promotied hate and never will understood now . She stated she tries to stress positivity and acceptance. What more is she supposed to do? I agree, she should probably make an empty statement directly addressing her fans behavior just to silence the obnoxious mouths that genuinely believe she should take responsibility for that issue. nick4bty 2,758
How can anyone be a fan of Kelly Osbourne? What does she even do? I'm just saying, she's a rude b---h to A LOT of people, not just Gaga. Why are people actually defending her and putting down Gaga when Gaga tried to respectfully relay her feelings on the matter? It doesn't make any sense.

Liza 618
I agree with this. I felt the exact same way. Gaga just needs to make ends meet and address another letter directly to her fan base. Even if no one listens and it makes absolutely no difference, at least it would make HER look better. Yes! I'd think it'd be good anyway. Obviously shady comments are still going to happen, but enough of these death threats and the mob of monsters who insult celebrities all at once (ie. going in on Kelly, Adele, etc).
