She's not on Dua's level (at least yet) but she definitely should have more recognition, we should be thankful for all those bops! And her live performances have improved at lot.

I mean Ava is good and all… but she hasn’t put out a solid piece of work like Future Nostalgia yet so no

ava feels really formulaic af, no. it's like how interscope tried to make gaga 2.0 with natalia kills. "let's find another dejected singer song-writer, give her a WeiRd makeover, set her up with akon, laurie-ann gibson, martin kierszenbaum (mr. cherry cherry boom boom himself), and fernando garibay, and try to see if we can't make lightning strike in the same place twice"

it's like they tried it again almost 10 years later with different aspects. sure, she's talented, but she feels super manufactured.

No, all her songs sound the same. It's like she has zero percent of originality. Always the same generic a** 80/90's-like pop with generic lyrics. Like she writes these songs to earn money, not because of her experiences, like - oh, I never had my heart broken, but I'll write a song about it.
She has no songs that I enjoy listening.

Unpopular opinion : with her formulaic songs that all sound the same and manufactured image, I still find her more talented than Dua

We don’t really need to talk too much, show each other what we know 🦋

She has zero stage presence imo and her music is very generic. Which is not a bad thing, in fact I think her last album should have done better and her label should also let her release the new already leaked one asap. I think she's really putting in the work, but after all the music is nothing but ~2010ish radio pop. Everybody's gotta decide for themselves if that's more deserving than other artists.

Ava has potential but she really lacks uniqueness and edge, She just feels like a very corporate manufactured popstar to the point where you can pretty much guess how all her new music will sound.

Dua on the other hand really put in the work to shape her image as an artist with FN.
