I remember thinking “why couldn’t this have been Stefani.” I have resented feeling that way since because I felt bad. I now redact that, I wish it were queen Stef that touched my hand. And the pit was filled with little girls in tutus and their bored parents. No one sang the songs, no one. I knew the songs but we had gone because one of my friends loved her. I sang because I felt bad. It was around the “green hair/mechanical horses” moment so I just sang along since no one else did. Katy crouched to touch fans’ hands during Dark Horse and knew I was singing so she touched my hand. I went to the California Dreams tour and my friend made some plush cupcakes and I put them on a vest. Ppl asked us for pics since we were “dressed up.” I put my paws up when posing.
