Tbh, as a jew.. I must admit that Adolf Hitler is the ultimate evil genius, so I kinda get what Kanye is saying here, it’s not about “admiration” and it doesn’t mean that he think that what he did was right, it’s just crazy to think how this historical figure managed to gain so much power in no time and literally do something unimaginable.

Seems to me that it's much easier to gather evil people together as a force, than good people. Evil people have an energy and force and stay together to get the results they want.

Coming from a dude who stood with white supremacists I doubt he was only impressed by the rise speed sadly.

I saw someone say that he’s trying to get out of shady contracts that he secretly does not want to follow through with anymore.

It is a plausible strategy in that case but taking the Michael Jackson route of sabotaging your own career so no one else can control it is very unhealthy and is only going to worsen his own mental health. Not to mention his imagine can no longer afford this behavior. He’s a joke. Nobody’s ever going to take him seriously again.

If he has been admiring him for years and the people around him were aware, they all just let it slide until it got too public?

It's a stupid dialogue. The whole, Hitler was reverently powerful. It's his place in history that makes him unforgettable. But it's a stupid train of thought, there's nothing to admire.
